Erica Land is a film / TV writer who grew up reading horror and romance novels in the back of her mother’s hair salon. Her passion for character-driven storytelling weaved with a desire to explore family dynamics in the face of adversity is reflected in every story she writes. She’s the winner of Roadmap Writers’ Diversity Initiative and her work has been recognized by NBC, Disney, and the Warner Bros. TV Writers Workshop. Erica’s comedic sketches have also been featured in the NBC Scene Showcase. With a background in journalism—covering everything from concert reviews to Wrestlemania—and a foundation in classical music and property management, Erica brings a distinct, layered voice to every project she undertakes.

Musical Instruments: I’ve played cello, piano, flute and violin. I studied cello at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the Blair School of Music (Vanderbilt University)
