I never expect much from a pilot. In fact Netflix just issued a study on how most viewers are not hooked by the first episode. So I was pleasantly surprised at how many times I laughed out loud watching the premiere of Grandfathered created by Daniel Chun. Pilots are a tough nut to crack, but this one had laughs and heart and who wouldn’t fall in love with that cute little girl…. and John Stamos’ dimples.
